and this one I'm going to show you guys how to find the perfect audience for your Facebook ads let's go [Music] so I'm not only going to show you guys how to target a general product but also a niche product as well so I've actually picked out three products and I'm gonna take them into my own ads manager and show you guys the exact interests that I would use when marketing those products but we'll set up times that work for the both of us I will fly you out and it's time to change your life and without further ado now they tell them to jump into my computer and show you guys how to find the perfect audience for your Facebook ads let's do this so a lot of people ask me how do I find interests for a general product and you know it's something you don't want to overthink a general product is for general people right like who do you market cereal to everyone literally everyone so whenever you have a general product from Aliexpress you market it the same way so you want to start doing general interests such as Netflix Spotify YouTube things like everyone knows about because their general interests so targeting for a general product is something you don't want to overthink you really have to keep it simple so niche targeting is the exact same way you don't want to overthink it so you want to start by targeting brands or stores or magazines within that niche and if you're already familiar with your niche then you know exactly what to do but if you have no idea where to start within your niche then you want to start by searching up brands or stores within that niche on Google and I'm going to show you guys exactly how to do that so don't even worry so anyways let's get into the targeting aspect and so the first thing I'm going to do is I'm actually going to target a general product so like I said general products are for general people so a few examples that I've listed here are Netflix you know targeting that interest would hit a key large audience of people because who doesn't like Netflix right another one that I've listed here is online shopping that's a very general interest of people but it's people that are already interested in shopping online so that's perfect another one that I've listed here is shopping malls because if you like to shop around then you're more inclined to click on a Facebook ad and buy something so never forget that general products are for general people so use general interests so let's go to my ad manager and I'll show you how it's done so I've actually already picked out a product that's very general that basically anyone can use and it's already actually got 14,000 orders so you know one of you guys could go out there and test this and potentially have a banger off of it and so the product is a magnetic moment holder through your car and basically anyone could use this and so this is a perfect example of a general product so let's go to my ads manager and I'll show you exactly how to do it all right so here we are in my ad account like I said I'm going to show you guys how I would target that car mount holder whatever you want to call it but I've got three ad sets here and I've got everything already set up like the locations the ages the genders everything like that it's all broad I'll show you guys but basically I just wanted to focus in on the targeting aspect so check this out so I just clicked edit really quickly on one of these ad sets so you guys can see everything I did so I'm gonna run through it really quickly so of course I did website conversion purchase I always start with purchase my budget is I started with five dollars a day I always start with five dollars a day and that's what I suggest you guys do as well especially if you have a limited budget it works I promise you the locations that I did for this one is on just an e packet countries which you can google that it'll give you a list of like 30 countries or so and you could just copy and paste that but I left the age range is really broad because that's how you want to do general products typically and as well as the genders I just left the genders really broad and then I went ahead and already added engaged shoppers in here just because I always do engage shoppers no matter what whether it's a general product or a niche product I always do engage shoppers of course in the placements I did mobile only I did Facebook feed and Instagram feed and then some they click or one day view okay so that's basically the overall summary of how I did the ad set but let's get into the targeting aspect cuz that's what this video is about and like I keep saying general products are for general people and this Carmel specifically everyone has a car and so this was a perfect product to do this and so you really don't want to overthink it I feel like this product specifically any age range could use this like myself I'm 20 and I could definitely use this as well as someone who's 60 years old could use this because you know they don't want to hold their phone or drop it or something like that and so I think any age range could use this it so I've said this plenty of times before but Netflix Netflix has been one of my own personal best assets ever it works really really well just because it's a very broad audience and like I say if you give Facebook a broad audience to start with it will narrow down and find your buyer so that's literally what I'm gonna do here you know general products for general people and Netflix is a general interest so let's do that and so Netflix narrow down my engaged shoppers here is a potentially 256 million which is perfect that's exactly what you wouldn't go for for a general product so I'm just going to scroll to the top here and name this one Netflix and say five dollars a day alright so I'm gonna jump into one of these other ad sets and we'll find an interest for that one well I always start with 10 separate ad sets to test a product but in this case I'm just showing you guys three ad sets per product and just doing three products so we can get through this as quick as possible and so of course everything in here is set up exactly how we want it so we're just gonna go to the interests section and so this product specifically you could kind of think about how someone would use it it's a it's a car mount and so someone who's mounting their phone a lot of times what they're doing is they're navigating they're going somewhere like uber drivers whenever you get into an uber you'll oftentimes see that they have one of these and then just have their phone held up by like a magnet Mountain and so you could type in something like Google Maps or GPS or something like that so that's what we're gonna try let's type in Google Maps and see what happens Google Maps right here okay let's look at the audience sighs oh that's awesome you know narrowed down by engaged shoppers the audience size is a potential reach of 2.6 million people that is an awesome audience so that's perfect so I'm just gonna name this ad set Google Maps and then go to the next one and so I've just jumped into the third ad set here that's gonna be the last one for this product and I like the GPS route that we went on the last one and targeted Google Maps so I'm gonna do something similar off of that just because I feel like it's directly correlated with if you're like using navigation or GPS or something like that then you know it'd be much more practical to have your phone held up rather than just looking in your lap every couple seconds so I'm just gonna type in navigation and see what happens okay awesome you know navigation narrowed down by engaged shoppers is an audience size of 3.1 million people which is perfect you know like I say I'm running through this very quickly and you might think dude that's way too simple but trust me I'm the king I got you this is exactly how you want to do it keep it very simple so we're gonna name the outset now and boom so now we've got the three assets here for this general car mount product and we use navigation Netflix and Google Maps of course like I said I always start with ten Adsense which is ten separate interests for every single product when I test it how I would find more interest off of these is I would just duplicate these and then look at the suggestions tab and see what Facebook gives us and go from there so let's jump into the two niche products that I'm gonna show you guys and then we'll go more in-depth and so some niche examples if you guys don't know or like Fitness Beauty outdoors babies things like that those are specific niches if you know your niche you know just type in the interests of the stores that you're aware of but if you don't know your niche then what you want to do is what I've listed here is you want to go search niche plush brands in Google so if you're targeting some sort of beauty product and you're a dude and you know you don't buy makeup and you have no idea where to start well you just want to go to Google and search beauty brands or beauty magazines or something like that and so that's what I mean by doing niche plus brands in Google and then whenever you get some results from there then you type those interests into Facebook targeting and then go from there but now I'm gonna jump to one of the niche products and pretend I know nothing about the niche and then just start targeting how I would suggest you guys do it and so until the first niche product that we're gonna work with here is a resistance band and this is something that people doing yoga or even just working out when you use and so those are our niches is fitness and yoga so like I said I'm gonna pretend like I know nothing about the niche so let's go to google and type in Fitness brands okay so things like Under Armour Adidas Reebok New Balance so a lot of those are like shoes and things like that and so one thing I'm gonna try just a dig around a little more is tap in fitness clothing just to see what comes up there okay so I see a few brand names here that are advertising products like fly polar Athleta bodybuilding.com saiful fabletics so you know I'm just gonna start by jumping into facebook and you know targeting fabletics I'm not even sure if it'll be in there but we'll see let's jump to this ad sent really quickly and like I said everything is already set up how we want it so we're just gonna go to the interests so I'm gonna type in fabletics I'm not even sure how to spell that okay so that's right okay yeah it is okay so it's six there's a 16 million audience in here and so yeah narrowed down by engaged shoppers fabletics is a potential reach of 5.6 million people which is perfect and so we know that it's a fitness brand because literally over here whenever we searched in fitness clothing in Google it said fabletics workout clothes gear up for the new year you know that's perfect that's exactly what we're going for with this resistance band and things like the age and gender are kind of common sense and so this product specifically I wouldn't see anyone over the age of like 50 using this so I'm just gonna do 18 to 45 perfect 18 to 45 women only engage shoppers and fabletics so let's just go name it fabletics $5 and go to the next one all right so we just did fabletics in the first ad set so the second one here I'm actually just gonna type in fabletics and then look at suggestions off of there like I say suggestions is royal so use it so we're gonna type in fabletics here because that's what we did on the previous one and then from there I'm going to hit the suggestions tab right here this is key whenever you have no idea where to go with targeting just hit suggestions and go from there so hitting suggestions we get Lululemon Athleta Under Armor yoga pants and it's funny because literally two of those that I just said Athleta and Under Armor were two previous things that we that came up in Google whenever we searched it up like if we go back to fitness clothing literally Athleta is right here so that's perfect we're literally gonna do that so we're just gonna put a fleeta and see what the audience sizes 18,000 bro okay so Athleta narrowed down by engage shoppers only 18,000 people and so I always shoot for over 1 million people so we're not gonna do that so we're just gonna suggestions as to what we get so Lululemon was one we got from previous one so we're just gonna do Lululemon and see what happens so Lululemon narrowed down by engage shoppers is 13 million people which is perfect so I'm actually just gonna use that for this ad set I'm gonna type in Lululemon to name it and then go to the third ad set so in the previous one we did fabletics and Lululemon so I'm gonna type that into this third one right here and then I'm gonna get a suggestion off of that and see what it gives us I'm going to suggestions here and of course Athleta is right there but it's really small but Under Armour let's do that one because I know it's a big audience and Under Armour is a fitness brand and that I mean and the audience size is perfect Under Armour narrowed down by engaged shoppers at 6.6 million people and so that's awesome it's very simple like I say you don't over complicate things so let's just name this Under Armour and go from there and whoa whoa whoa as you guys know I give away one free product every single video and the winning product of this one is it's a rose gold elixir I just know that it has over eight thousand orders and I've seen this popping off for a little while now but you know like I say my sweet spot of orders is between five and twenty thousand and this product is perfect it's in the beauty niche so you would just find Beauty interest Beauty stores and beauty things off of that to target this product but a big selling point on this is that it uses 24 karat like gold in the product and so it's really really cool it's really cheap it's like four dollars so you could sell this for over 20 most definitely and so you can actually make a lot of money with this it has over two thousand votes out of 4.8 stars so the data tells that if nobody's selling but it's a really good product as well so anyways guys that's the winning product this video let's get back into it so the three ad sets that we have here for the fitness product is fabletics Lululemon and Under Armour and so like I said how you would want to do this to find the rest of the tin ad sets if you're testing this product or any sort of fitness product it's just duplicate these ads and then look at suggested interest until you have ten of them total and then go from there so let's jump to our third product and we'll wrap this up so the last part that I'm gonna do is it is a beauty product so right here it's a makeup brushes these are doing really well these have over 30,000 orders and it's actually really cool because these have over six thousand votes at four point seven stars that is insanely good and so this isn't a beauty niche makeup niche and so I'm gonna show you guys how you would find interest if you have no idea where to start until like I say you always want to do like beauty brands or beauty magazines and search those things in Google to find suggestions for facebook let's go to Google and start to beauty brands alright so when I start stuff beauty brands here in Google I got a list of them so uLTA Beauty House of Fraser Chester berry Radley I don't even know half of these which is why you should do this right and so I'm just gonna take uLTA Beauty because I know that's like a giant like makeup store or something and we're gonna put that into Facebook and see what happens alright so type in also beauty here let's see what happen okay so uLTA Beauty it looks like it's a lie nice size yeah so uLTA Beauty narrowed down by engaged shoppers is 6.1 million people so common sense comes in of course you only want to target women for this product not many men would use this I might depending on the day you know no big deal but go up here the light will name the ad set uLTA Beauty at five dollars and then go to ad set number two okay so we're at set number two now I'm actually just gonna type in uLTA Beauty again and then look at the suggestions off of there so literally all you guys have to do is find one interest for your for your niche and then basically get suggestions off of that and go from there so all his suggestions here and Sephora I know Sephora is like a big makeup brand just like Ulta but if you're not familiar with it so what you'd want to do just a double check is you would want to go to google and search up the suggestions that facebook gives you so I'm gonna type in Sephora right here and so yeah right here literally it says Sephora official site let's a beauty together that's all you need to know it's literally a beauty brand so let's do it so Sephora narrow down by gage shoppers is 18 million people that's perfect that's exactly the range I go for and so simple as that I'm going to name the ad set Sephora at $5 alright so this is our last ad set for this beauty product and I'm actually just gonna type in Alta beauty and then Sephora since that's what we did the last two and then get suggestions off of there and go from there so we have Sephora and Ulta Beauty here so I'm just gonna get suggestions and see what happens so we have mac cosmetics L'Oreal Urban Decay covergirl and all of these like these two literally say cosmetics in the intersection so I'm just gonna do the top with mac cosmetics and so mac narrow down by engaged shoppers it shows the potential reach fewer than a thousand people but I know that's wrong Facebook bugs out sometimes and so if this happens to you don't even worry like that Facebook just trips but you can see here that MAC Cosmetics the size is 84 million people without engaged shoppers so I'm sure it's between 15 and 30 million with engaged shoppers so I'm just gonna leave it as is and name it MAC Cosmetics so the three interest that we use for this beauty products are MAC Cosmetics Sephora and Ulta Beauty so I think those are really good like I say I always start with 10 ad set so what you would do to find the rest off of here is duplicate these ad sets and then click suggestions and get tin and then go from there so I showed you guys exactly how you would want to target a general product as well as how you would target to niche products and so last but not least I said this so many times but you have to remember this you don't want to overthink it you know Facebook is smarter than we are so start broad and let it narrow down to find your buyers one thing that I used to fall into was paralysis due to over analysis a little sounds pretty crazy but basically is just thinking about it too much and hindering from even taking action in the first place right so you're gonna end up thinking about it you're gonna get frustrated you're gonna be like I don't even know what to do anymore and so don't overthink it keep it really simple and just start broad and narrow down moral of the story you guys got this just keep it really simple just find a good product put it in front of the right people and bands all right so that is all for this video guys I hope you enjoyed it I know
